Annual Highlights, Features, and Activities
1. RoboMaster Hong Kong-Shenzhen Exchange Invitational — Crowned High School Division Overall Champion & Junior High Division Overall 1st Runner-Up
Organized by the Hong Kong Shenzhen Association and co-organized by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, this major cross-border academic event places severe demands on students’ robotics design, programming, and teamwork abilities. Our school’s senior and junior high school teams stood out among numerous competing teams to win the High School Division Overall Championship and Junior High Division Overall 1st Runner-Up, achieving remarkable success that demonstrates the deep foundation of our school’s robotics training.

2. Hong Kong Robotics Event 2026 — Won Overall 1st Runner-Up
This grand event aims to unleash students’ innovative potential. Four of our senior high school students, utilizing a precision robot engineered in-house, maintained composure under pressure and executed precise controls on-site. Overcoming many top-tier teams, our school team ultimately secured the Overall 1st Runner-Up award, re-affirming our school’s dedication to robotics engineering education.

3. Hong Kong Primary and Secondary Schools Eco Wind Turbine STEAM Competition — Champion for Best Eco-Design Award
Our junior high school students participated in this creative competition that fuses environmental concepts with engineering design. By translating green ideas into physical engineering builds through hands-on practice, students fully demonstrated their problem-solving capabilities. Their outstanding wind turbine model design earned high praise from the panel of judges, taking home the Champion title for the Best Eco-Design Award.

4. Inter-School Exchange — TWGHs Yiu Dak Chi Memorial Primary School “STEAM Lunar New Year Cultural Day”
Our school’s STEAM team stepped outside the campus to set up featured booths at the “STEAM Lunar New Year Cultural Day,” hosted by TWGHs Yiu Dak Chi Memorial Primary School. Blending Chinese New Year culture with modern technology, we designed highly interactive booth games that successfully promoted our school’s STEAM achievements to primary teachers and students. This event not only honed our students’ communication skills but also effectively fostered inter-school exchanges with a partner school.

5. “NStudio United · Co-Creating · Safeguarding National Security” National Security Promotion Plan Competition — Won 3rd Place & Best Teacher Advisor Award
Three junior high school students reflected on the connection between national security and daily life by drafting a comprehensive promotion proposal. Harnessing their innovative thinking, the students designed a highly practical promotional scheme, ultimately winning 3rd Place (2nd Runner-Up). Furthermore, our school’s advising teacher was honored with the Best Teacher Advisor Award, highlighting our school’s effectiveness in guiding students to care about society and utilize creativity in strategic planning.

6. “Words into Art” Competition — Cross-Disciplinary Fusion of Visual Arts and AI (Silver Award, Bronze Award)
Our team collaborated deeply with the Visual Arts (VA) Department, guiding Secondary 5 students to integrate traditional aesthetics with AI generative technologies (image and video generation). Delivering outstanding performances, our students bagged the Silver Award for Image Generation and the Bronze Award for Video Generation. This initiative broadened the creative media available to art students and successfully demonstrated how AI technology can empower traditional artistic disciplines.

7. Popularization and Promotion — School-Wide “STEAM Day” Experiential Day
To further foster a rich atmosphere of scientific exploration across the campus, our team specially organized “STEAM Day,” opening the STEAM Room to all students during lunch break. Featuring various hands-on stations and interactive activities, the event attracted enthusiastic participation from a large crowd of students. The activity not only heightened students’ interest in science, technology, and engineering, but also successfully popularized STEAM elements among every student.

8. Featured in Media Coverage — Developing a School-Based AI Self-Learning Platform to Drive Personalized Learning
Our school is dedicated to the continuous development of digital education, actively responding to the Education Bureau’s latest educational directives. Our research and development achievements have drawn significant attention from both the academic community and the media. A feature article titled “AI Education Sharing | Utilizing a School-Based AI Self-Learning Platform: School-Wide Collaboration to Drive Personalized Learning” was published on the HK01 news portal. The article detailed how our school leverages whole-school collaboration and our self-developed AI platform to support students in personalized self-directed learning, serving as clear proof of our leading position in innovative educational technology.

Objectives
STEAM is an acronym representing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Promoting STEM education aligns with global educational trends, equipping students to respond to the changes and challenges brought about by rapid economic, scientific, and technological developments worldwide. Within our school curriculum, STEAM education focuses on updating and strengthening the science, technology, arts, and mathematics curricula and learning activities, while enhancing teacher training to allow students to fully realize their creative potential. We firmly believe that interdisciplinary learning—both inside and outside the school—can unlock students’ potential.
