Mission
- To cultivate students’ self-awareness, goal-setting abilities, and self-reflection, while expanding their understanding of diverse academic and career pathways.
- To provide practical support for students adapting to school life, establish a comprehensive student profiling system, and deliver timely information to clarify their future pathways.
- To equip students with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes through diverse activities and seminars, enabling them to make informed academic and career choices aligned with their interests, abilities, and aspirations.
Objectives
- To optimize and refine career guidance services for senior secondary students.
- To assist students in setting meaningful goals, identifying pathways to achievement, making informed choices, and initiating early career planning through targeted activities, seminars, study tours, and academic transition resources.
- To facilitate HKDSE registration and provide comprehensive guidance on JUPAS applications for Secondary 6 students.
- To expand and strengthen career education and guidance initiatives in the junior secondary levels.
- To manage and recommend students for scholarships and various Principal’s Nomination Schemes, as well as facilitate applications for financial assistance.
- To coordinate and manage student records and profiling database systematically.
- To foster a professional image of the team and support new team members in seamlessly adapting to the department’s operations.
