The percentage of students achieving Level 3 or above far exceeds the territory-wide average.. One achieved a Level 5 and another attained a Level 5* for outstanding performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public examination of DSE has offered Geography for Form 6 since 2022, and has achieved excellent results in many Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education examinations. For example, in the first Geography Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination in 2022, 40% will be awarded Grade 4 or above, and 20% will be awarded Grade 5 or above, which is higher than the level in Hong Kong. Relevant students were successfully admitted to the Department of Geography and Resource Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In the 2024 Geography Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, the pass rate reached 88.9%, and some students obtained 4th and 5th class respectively. See undergraduates achieve excellent academic results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"activities\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Activities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Geography is a very broad and diverse subject involving many interesting activities and topics. and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>develop a sense of citizenship, a global outlook, and readiness to take action for the betterment of society, the nation and the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"objective\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Objectives<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are expected to develop knowledge and understanding of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>how natural environments influence human activities, and how human activities alter natural environments;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the changing development of geographical phenomena and issues in terms of space and time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the characteristics and functioning of major natural environments, through analysing the processes and interactions within and between them;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;the characteristics and development of major human activities, in order to achieve a sense of \u201cregion\u201d;
